Homework and Science Fair
11/8-11/9- I have met with each student about Science Fair. Everyone has had their projects approved, except for a few. I would like to remind students and parents not to use vertebrates as experiment subjects. All information and a step by step plan can be found at http://www.nefrsef.org/ under the student section. There is also a form wizard under rules. I have gone over all of this information several times in class. The students who had me for Team Time have had two weeks on this subject.
11/8-11/9- Homework read p 212-215, questions p 215,1-6

End of the nine weeks and Science Project
Parents; please remember an update to the Grade Portal can take a few days. This is beyond my control. I usually grade and return papers to my students by the next class they attend. The student usually has the paper back before it shows on the Grade Portal. You should only worry if the grades don't change over a few weeks. No Grade-means the assignment has been entered in the computer but the not graded yet or not averaged into the grade yet. It is how the program is designed.
The schedule this next week.
10/24-25 Sling it Humidity
Directed Reading p 134-141 (guided outline)
Weather Project due 10/25-10-26
10/26-27- Gizmo in Class- Coastal winds
10/28- teacher planning
10/31-11/1- Bring new composition book, turn old book in with all work glued on proper pages.
This week will be devoted to Science Fair. Three classes have had help in Science Fair during Team time.
